While Zamalek's league opener witnessed some shambolic refereeing in their favor, the Whites’ second match against Gaish was not free of controversy too.

But this time the big shout came from Zamalek as the hand of Gaish defender Sameh Hassan got in the way of Hassan Shehata’s men three times.

Referee Gehad Greisha was not impressed though, ruling that the handball was unintentional.

“When our players went to ask him about it, he said that ‘even if the ball hit the player’s hand ten times, I won’t be giving a penalty’,” Zamalek assistant coach Ismail Youssef said after the game.
